{"id":872,"date":"2022-04-24T16:00:17","date_gmt":"2022-04-24T15:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/quartetoeuterpe.com\/?post_type=agenda&#038;p=872"},"modified":"2026-06-12T18:07:21","modified_gmt":"2026-06-12T17:07:21","slug":"desvendando-um-norte-erudito-%c2%b7-ii-cicle-%c2%b7-1st-concert","status":"publish","type":"agenda","link":"https:\/\/quartetoeuterpe.pedroferreiraweb.eu\/en\/?agenda=desvendando-um-norte-erudito-%c2%b7-ii-cicle-%c2%b7-1st-concert","title":{"rendered":"Desvendando um Norte Erudito \u00b7 Cicle II \u00b7 1st Concert"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first concert of the second cycle of&nbsp;<em>Desvendando um Norte Erudito<\/em>&nbsp;took place on 24 April 2022 at the Museu do C\u00f4a in Vila Nova de Foz C\u00f4a \u2014 one of Portugal&#8217;s most singular museum spaces, built around the archaeological site of the C\u00f4a Valley and its extraordinary collection of Palaeolithic rock art. The relationship between the space and the programme was not accidental: like the art of the C\u00f4a, the repertoire chosen explores the human capacity to condense meaning into a refined and essential language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme opened with Haydn&#8217;s Quartet Op. 76 No. 2 &#8220;The Fifths&#8221;, one of the most expressive and harmonically daring works of the composer&#8217;s late output. This was followed by the world premiere of&nbsp;<em>Hesita\u00e7\u00f5es de Murm\u00farios<\/em>, a work for string quartet commissioned by the Quarteto Euterpe from Portuguese composer Ema Ferreira specifically for this project.
